What to think...

I ran into this essay while looking for something online...(don't read it all, it's long)

I won't say I agree with this guy on everything...but there were things that he said that I could relate with 100%. The critical thinker in me had a lot of "what source did you get that statistic from" to say. Assumptions most likely. Observant ones, I'll admit. I have my own beefs with the LDS "meat market" (wait...that was an awesome pun!) but just can't get myself to really talk bad about it. It's a great place...just not for this almost 30 year old dude. Especially with the girlfriend in my life and all. I think tomorrow will be my last Sunday there. I may organize some thoughts as to why I'm moving out prematurely (before turning 31). It's not because of the constant reminder of a necessity to get married...because trust me, it's worse in the geographical/family wards. (Old people are ruthless.) If I get around to it I'll update with some of my cynical, sometimes amusing, always thought out reasons why I hate going to the singles ward. (I won't say I hate "THE" singles ward, because I don't...just going "TO" it.)

I'm always forgetting about this blog...which obviously leads to me not posting on it. Even if people don't visit it anymore, it's always therapeutic to write when the necessity arises. Plus most of you who do read it and have something to say, call me up about stuff I write as opposed to posting replies...which I secretly love, and motivates me to write more. Until next time.
